Many PMP candidates believe that there are specific PMP certification test dates you must register for to take the PMP exam. The PMP exam schedule is not like that. There are a few steps you need to follow in order to take the PMP exam.

First, you must be eligible for the PMP exam. Learn more about the PMP requirements. PMI.org allows you to apply online for the PMP exam if you are eligible and have completed PMP training. There are three main PMP application options.

PMI recommends that PMP certification applicants apply online. This is the fastest and most convenient way to apply for PMP certification. Online PMP application reviews and the results can take approximately five business days. However, paper applications and those made through training providers can take up one month.
If your PMI approval is granted, you will be eligible for the PMP exam. After your PMI approval of your PMP application, you will be able to take the PMP exam within one year. You can’t take the exam within one year. PMI will review your application again.

When is the Next PMP Certification Test Dates
Answer: When you are ready to take it! You can schedule your PMP exam with the nearest PMP testing center as long as you are available to take the PMP exam. Remember, however, that you must first pass the PMP application step before you can sit for the PMP exam.
